AN INDEPENDENT SHOE & BOOTMAKER CONFERENCE

Where handmade and bespoke shoemakers and bootmakers from every discipline imaginable will gather to discuss craft, technique, and leather—and perhaps most importantly, to form long-lasting ongoing connections with each other.

Boot Camp Maker’s Day is a one-day conference in November 2026 at The Tannery Row in Chicago. Tickets are limited. More info coming soon!

MAKER’S DAY SAMPLE SCHEDULE

9am-10am: Extended Intros

10am-11:30: Leather Exploration with Horween and Tannery Row’s John Culliton

11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch

12:30-2pm: Breakout Groups: Literally take off the shoes/boots that you made (or bring others you’re not wearing) and discuss technique and approach with the other makers

2-3pm: Group discussion

3pm: Tearful goodbyes
